Silicon Valley venture capital firm 500 Startups is opening an office location in Downtown Miami, which is just one more step in the right direction for the city.

The firm announced earlier this week that they see a positive future for Miami entrepreneurs and that they want to add their global network, resources and expertise to the city’s growth.

500 Startups has partnered with mindwarehouse, to create their Signature Space where it plans to provide strategic services and resources to entrepreneurs such as Founder Bootcamps and Accelerator Programs, Investor Education Programs, Demo Days and more. It has also partnered with the Miami Downtown Development Authority, the John S. and James L Knight Foundation, and Visa.

Miami is “uniquely poised to become a global hub,” and the 500 Startups will only bring us closer to reaching that goal. Following the city’s bond rating increase earlier this year, the future is looking brighter by the day in the 305.
